Black Canvas
Rise
Cool & Deadly

Here’s a feisty little bugger from the top-of-the-tree team when it comes to unadulterated house music mayhem and latest in their series of collaborations following April’s hook-up with Ohmna. Big of bass, lashed with melon-friendly whooshy noises and riding a riff not unlike Slam’s ‘Positive Education’, it powers majestically through a complex race-course of changes, the groove turning more deadly with every jump and even an orchestra rising out of the deep at one point. Then it gets truly mad in the drop, completing a mission of mass devastation. ‘Calling New York’ is also orchestral in density but as a vital ingredient in the way the track builds its monolithic banks of melody into a rich peacock’s flowering rectum of sound. A truly glorious double-header.
