Sugardaddy is multi talented singer / songwriter & musician Tim Hutton, alongside Tom Findlay from Groove Armada, two well established artists in their own right. ‘It’s Good To Get High With The Wife’ takes on various aspects of electronic dance, all shot through with a good dose of funky disco and slightly sleezy pop. The lovely Cmone from Nottingham makes a sterling guest appearance on ‘Upside Down Girl’, delivering a sassy vocal of well thought out lyrics, she is shaping up as the female equivalent of Mike Skinner. ‘State Of Play’ has got a distinct 80’s synth duo feel, complete with catchy riffs & vocal hooks, while ‘Hate Love Passion’ goes down an electro route, and the debut single ‘Chasing My Tail’ picks up the punk funk baton and sprinkles it with some Scissor Sisters glam dust. Sugardaddy have made an album that’s got mass appeal.
