Swiss king Jamie Lewis’ Purple Music has been at the forefront of the House Music scene for more than a decade and his recent offerings have increased the level again when it comes to quality of output. No exception to this rule is the pairing of Italian duo Blacktwins and US diva Barbara Tucker. The ‘Original Mix’ is a dreamy yet bouncy analogue bass driven soulful affair that flows nicely alongside Barbara’s superb vocal offering. The ‘Club Mix’ is a bit too obvious for me, but the remaining two remixes from Gianluca Pighi and Massimo Paramour, who deliver a classic electronic Italian version that could easily have been outta the Fathers Of Sound imperium some years ago, and Francis Galante who, in my personal opinion comes up with the best mix of the lot, a straight soulful rhodes powered affair that does impress indeed, make this a cool pick.
