EPM’s third label collection focuses on remixes – and does a great job in bigging up what is becoming a formidable catalogue. There is a wide variety of music here, though I struggled to get past Robert Hood’s hugely entertaining disco carnage remix of Carl Taylor’s ‘Debbie’s Groove’, because it is so insanely catchy! Once past that there are other treats in store – Vince Watson’s trance leanings in an admirable take on Kristian Heikkila’s ‘02’ and the bouncy Marcel Fengler remix of Paul Mac’s ‘Hotel Insomnia’ being just two of those. Add in a Ben Sims mix of Lee J. Malcolm and the Detroit Grand Pubahs taking on Luis Martinez’ ‘Do Me’ and you have a very recommendable set of desirable tracks.
