Adrian Sherwood is the man at the controls, and ‘On-U Soundcrash’ sees him plundering the archives of On-U Sound, selecting 31 choice cuts, re-running them through the echo chamber, adding some new vocals care of Ari Up (The Slits), and then giving them a proper mashing. Among those receiving the treatment are Dub Syndicate & Lee Perry, African Head Charge, Gary Clail, Prince Far-I, Bim Sherman, New Age Steppers, Tackhead and Mark Stewart. The results are pretty much out there to say the least. Digi dub has just been taken one step further.
