Echoes of Subliminal come to the latest ‘Sessions’ double, as Harry ‘Choo Choo’ Romero brings two sets of chunky house to the dancefloor. Romero adds a cutting edge to proceedings on CD1, chucking in a few biggies such as Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso’s ‘Umbrella’, Marcella’s ‘Stabbing Sally’ and his own remix of Yves Larock’s ‘Rise Up’. CD2 restores the momentum with Shlomi Aber’s ‘Freakside’, Morillo and Innersphere, blending recent house staples with a few untried grooves. One word – solid.
