TOM SAWYER & GABRIEL SORDO
NOWADAYS
SOUTH

Another rich and well-crafted soundscape of lush beats striking chords and edgy breakdown made in South America by the acclaimed Panama producer. With a few choice lines from TV footage of the Iraqi war, Sawyer and Sordo have created a tech-etched electro monster cut from that same fabric as Nick & Danny Chatelain’s ‘Is Killing Me’ last year. There’s also mixes from Mikel Curcio and Dudu Soldani, but it’s the bit crunching sounds, simple, yet totally absorbing arrangement of the Original, underscored with a driving bass, that’ll push this into the winner’s circle.
