It’s always a pleasure for me to review cuts from friends and I’m somehow even more happy when good music comes out of my home country Austria which sadly isn’t the case too often. Now Kosovo born and Austria native Gjaka K delivers his first international release of deep techy trax for Krafted’s EJ Underground imprint and it’s a blast! After working a lot to create a signature sound, the man serves a slice of techy deepness via ‘Movin Out’ which comes complete with a remix from Gruuve based out of Argentina and known for his releases on 303Lovers.
The track heads straight out of the start gate with a deep groove which will suit those late night shifts on the decks with stabby synths and glitch vox snippets.
Next up, ‘Midnight’ another deep groove with catchy percussion that builds from the outset, with deep stabs that evolve into a lush, uplifting melody.
Rounding up the Original’s is ‘Feel It’ in Gjaka’s distinctive style, making all three tracks essential for those 6am sets. Trippy noises and rolling beat prove that this is another deep tech affair that won’t fail to disappoint.
Last but not least, Gruuve provides his interpretation of ‘Midnight’ which takes it to the next level with a break down that will surely create the buzz everyone searches for these days. Congrats to all involved, nice one!
