It take’s a very brave move to cover one of clubland’s most loved tunes and I know there will be enough people to slate this release in favor of the original. What Scott and Jim have done is keep all the much loved elements of Wink’s original but have brought it today’s market. The bassline is devastating and the recreation of the acid hook has to be heard. This one will live in my record box from now on leaving the Manifesto original to rest in piece on that great collectable shelf at home
