If only for the inclusion of the classic original version – arguably one of A Man Called Adam’s finest moments bar “Barefoot In The Head” – this single demands your immediate attention. It sounds just as fresh now, if not fresher, as it did on it’s first release all those years ago. Can you admit to ever hearing a better combination of synths and avian pipes on a dance record? Thought not. DJ Harvey does what he’s so good at. He takes the core elements of the original and weaves a hypno-house rumpshaker and a half, the chord sequence building ever so gradually over that lovely sounding bass. Backrooms and bars everywhere will be kept jumping for many a month with this release. Fantastic material which ever side you play.
