The excellent About Berlin has some more heat lined up for us all in the form of a new EP from Alltag. Altar is just 18 years old and recently won a SMAG DJ contest. Now touring Europe he is also kicking out the jams and does so here in fine style.
His cut ‘Planet Soul’ is a slow build but sensuous deep house cut. The drums are perfectly woody, the bass grinds away down below and the percussion is light and airy. Making sure the whole thing goes off in a club is a well worked female vocal that adds to the tension and explodes in all the right ways. A short radio edit and a club mix as well as an extended original are all included so get this one in your set and watch the crowd go wild. Here’s to much more of the same from this promising young producer.
