Comprised of two tracks this to-the-point EP sees newcomer Andy Burton combine sweet, soulful vocals together with tough, techno bass to sound big-time on the title track. This well crafted arrangement also has some snappy percussion to augment the existing selection of crisp drums, along with swirling atmospheric pads adding an extra layer of depth to the production. ‘On & Off’ proceeds with a similar formula, although if anything is even more about the bassline, to complete this end of year release from the Manchester based label.
