House music, specifically deep house, is all the rage right now. At the heart of the modern movement are Bordertown. The pair truly love house and know every facet of it, as has been proved before now with their EPs on labels like Toolroom, King Street Sounds and Nurvous, which is where they appear again now. Bordertown actually hook up with EZLV, aka Canadian 100% Silk pair Maxime Ezekiel and Louis Vee here, and enlist Freya on vocals, The result is a rambunctious and delicious house track with fat bass, warm drums and lots of colourful melodies that will unite and excite any and all dancefloors. The remix from Stil & Bense, a German pair who release on We Play, is a more considered and refined affair with filtered vox, plenty of emphasis on the bassline and vibes in spades. This, then, is a killer EP that simply makes you feel gooooood.
