Cera Alba – ‘Relativity EP’ – (Mile End)

Next up on Mile End Records is one of house music’s men of the moment in the form of Cera Alba. Following up great EPs on Viva and Moon Harbour he now comes correct with three more tracks that get remixed by Leftwing & Kody in great style.

Cera is a UK talent who also releases on labels like Lost Records and Alive. Opener ‘Erratic Motion’ is an old school New York style house cut. Raw and ghetto with churning drums and a wild lead synth that tumbles down from the sky, it is one to make you sweat. ‘Vertigo’ on the other hand is a bouncy cut with big kicks filled with air, grinding bass and spooky chords that are rave ready. It’s one to send floors wild. ‘Balaeria’ is another slamming and slinky house joint with crisp percussion and loopy bass sucking you right into the vocal flecked groove.

Much loved London pair Leftwing & Kody remix this one into a more to the point and hard hitting, cut up and choppy affair that is perfectly physical for the floor. Every track on that EP is a real winner, try it for yourself!
