Christian Prommer – UberMood – Compost Records

After all this time UberMood is perhaps surprisingly Christain Prommer’s first solo album. Which, makes it altogether more amazing when you soak up all the lush instrumentation whether that’s playing a seemingly simple shaker or Classical styled piano motifs. Not that that means its technique over substance because the album constantly thrills and delights with the sights and sounds of his emotive imagination. Indeed the beautiful, haunting keys of the Debussy inspired ‘Aturo’ sits surprisingly comfortably next to the unrelenting House rhythms of ‘Hanging On The DJ Booth’ and equally alongside the dreamy ambience of ‘Wonders Of The World’. But what also makes this album complete is the addition of an outstanding array of guest vocalists which adore the selection of well crafted songs. – e.g. the soul heaven of ‘Where You Gonna Go’ featuring Kim Sanders. In other words: it’s the perfect album for people who enjoy Music of all moods and shades.
