An explosive set of remixes go to make up this latest release from the always forward thinking My Favourite Freaks. Kicking things off is Ramon Tapia’s tense reworking of the icy cool vocal that fuses dark synthesisers alongside rhythmic drums with a great probing arrangement keeping the energy levels high. The on-point System2 then hit you with one of their trademark basslines together with classic House drum machines and treated touches of vocal retelling the story. A great remix by Gunnar Stiller follows of ‘Stress in the Streets’ via a series of cutting synths and splashing hi-hats driving it all home.
