Dantiez Saunderson, KPD feat AM2PM’s double hitter ‘Things You Do’ and ‘The Key’ sees Detroit music family royalty in Dantiez Saunderson collaborating with AM2PM on vocals and Spanish Dj/Producer KPD who also enrols fellow countryman and label head David Penn on the remix duties. Dantiez is certainly following in his Father’s footsteps and showing the world that he’s a first class producer.
I’ve always been a fan of Alec Sun Drae’s voice from AM2PM, so its no wonder that I’m drawn into their latest collaboration with Dantiez and KPD. Catchy vocals from the outset, the original mix is an energetic house tune complete with piano hook and lovely chord changes. One of those tracks that just brings a smile to your face.
David Penn’s remix is a peak time track with disco flavour and his own piano element added to the rework. Love the way this rolls, very hypnotic intro that slides into the disco breakdown and piano hook.
Completing this package, AM2PM have pulled the hat out of the bag with their remix. Their bassline is HUGE and will appeal to the deep house floors. Pitched vocals sit behind Alec’s original vocal hook and the groove on this remix is set for peak time plays. AM2PM have confirmed why I’m a fan with this latest remix.
