The premise is pretty straightforward but if this is anything to go by then this new series of ideas from the label is certain to throw up some absolute gems. Under the title, Diynamic Revisited an artist gets to remix two tracks from the back catalogue, which in this case is by David August. First up is Kollektiv Turmstrasse’s 2009 ‘Last Day’ which is transformed into a delicate but powerful rendition of warm, melodic Techno tones and gently pulsating drums, and is nothing sort of awe-inspiring. Next, from the proceeding year, is Stimming’s ‘Der Schmelz’ and in this instance features haunting voices alongside shimmering keyboards and strident beating Toms to ignite your stereo.
