Lifted from the album ‘Virgo Blaktro & The Movie Disco’, Felix Da Housecat’s ‘Radio’ shimmers with early Kraftwerk influences, and predicts a bright and glittering future that quite simply makes you forget all your troubles, as you swan around in a plastic jumpsuit with a Space 1999 hairdo. On the remix front Japan’s Shinichi Osawa ups the pop factor as well as giving ‘Radio’ strong driving beats with drop downs and soaring peaks, that will rock the floor and create a room of beaming smiley faces. Think Daft Punk meets The Buggles meets Soulwax. Meanwhile the Infadels cook up a heads down no nonsense acid frenzy, which should have the drug bingers flailing around like they’re wired to the mains. Felix Da Housecat and Shinichi Osawa have delivered one of the anthems of 2008.
