Strange Feeling Records is the sister label to Ben Watt’s Buzzin‚ Fly label, and it’s main aim is to release alt-indie and electro pop. Denmark’s Figurines are the first off the press with the delightful ‘Silver Ponds’, which comes over a tad new country, as well as slightly spaced out shoe gazing U.S. stylee. Grandaddy and Sparklehorse would be proud. ‘The Wonder’
on the flip puts it’s foot on the gas, with plenty of fast riffage and jangly bits, racing over stop start jerky rhythms. Ben Watt also delivers a couple of housed up remixes which also work a treat.
