The Swiss / German duo “Green & Falkner” have released a new gem entitled “Break The Silence” featuring US Vocal talent Elleah. With remix credits under their belts for artists such as Nadia Ali, Plastic Angel, AVICII, and Sebastien Drums, this duo fits quite nicely among those included in the “ones-to-watch-out-for” club. On the surface, this duo (and this track) also seem to be following in the grand tradition of the many “someone & someone” acts that have preceded them. On first playback, it immediately becomes apparent that this act and this track nod heavily to acts such as Gabriel & Dresden. On subsequent listens, it also becomes apparent that there’s quite a bit more bubbling under the surface. This gorgeously produced track has quite a bit going for it. Strong production values, a great melody, and a sublime vocal by Elleah make this track a winner. Although lyrically, this track isn’t breaking any new ground (with lines such as “let the music take control”), the energy of the track, as well as the sincerity in the delivery set this track apart from the deluge of other “paint-by-numbers” releases. This track is sure to be dance floor dynamite, as well as an explosive summer track. “Break The Silence” was released on July 9, 2012.
