Few labels release as many high quality club cuts as Hive Audio. The Swiss imprint never misses and always has a fresh roster of names churning out the goods. This time out they look to Mirco Caruso for two tight new tech cuts that will set any floor alight. They mark his debut on the label and hopefully the start of a fine relationship. The first is Next Guest, a robust and upright house groove with bobbling bass, tin pot precision and aloof, distant vocals bleeding into the mix. It’s a cool, breezy cut that makes you sway your hips. Then comes the more driven Let Me Go, which is a tense, edge of your seat ride through the cosmos with twinkling keys, tough synths and shooting pads all forming a bed off which dreamy, whispered vocals leap. It’s infectious, attention grabbing stuff that will make sure dancers sweat from start to finish. These are two crisp tracks that really get under your skin and want to make you move.
