It is of course fair to say that this is a stunning production. Perhaps not a surprise given Phil Asher’s timely calibre but also by adding James Massiah’s spoken delivery into the mix and ‘Time & Space’ opens up all sorts of possibilities. Musically this blends soaring, fizzy electronics together with engaging rhythms that exist outside of the usual circle of cliques and therefore once heard not forgotten. Likewise stoking the stereo levels are the intense array of sonic treatments beautifully buzzing around the system in either the Original version or as the Reprise. The excellent ‘Trampoline’ follows with the emphasis placed firmly on the beats and booming bass providing a lesson in movement: one, two, three.
