Life can be full of surprises. Phunk Nouveaux – none other than Azzido Da Bass – have made the jump from commercial trance to funky breaks after the phenomenal success of Timo Maas’ remix of their “Dooms Night’ track and to be fair German producers Martens & Winter could have done a lot worse. ‘Whatever’ is a big beat jam fronted by a jazzy female vocalist however the Young Punx steal the show with a catchy reinterpretation in a housey disco vein (all 126 BPM).
