After just completing a tour with Spiritualized, The Shortwave Set are about to go on the road again, this time round they headline and support their excellent new E.P. ‘Glitches ‘n’ Bugs’ instantly draws you in with it’s feel good psychedelic pop sensibilities and boy / girl duet vocals about the little mistakes in life that lead to having fun diversions. Mongolian Jet Set deliver a grooving percussive remix, which will get any self respecting happening naked and busy with the body paint. The bonus cuts are ‘Homesick’, a fuzzy strung out breaks driven romp that’s got similarities to Babybird’s ‘Too Handsome To Be Homeless’, and a biblical cover of the Grace Jones classic ‘Slave To The Rhythm’. The Shortwave Set have hit the spot again.
