After hearing their remix of Phutek’s ‘This Groove’ last year, I have been keeping a firm ear on this Adelaide duo’s productions that excitingly cross boundaries for techno and trance fans alike. Having conquered outputs already for labels as diverse as Kearnage, Ying Yang, Outburst, Armada and more, the future is looking rather bright for these guys indeed. Here they land on Mark Sherry’s Techburst label with two rolling slammers that are designed to be played at high volumes! Spirals is my personal favourite with it’s nagging rave generator style siren synth and clever fills and edits. Subtlety combined with a chunky production style is the name of the game for these guys and it’s great to see producers thinking outside the box with each release. I can’t wait to see which label they end up on next.
