Supernova’s Lapsus Music label carries on putting out serious peak hour music for those hot summer nights. After their fulminant Deepshakerz/Robert Owens collab, Ibiza resident DJ and producer Iban Mendoza is up next on the ever reliable label for his first solo release with the imprint. His ‘Nomad Soul EP’ stands out from the rest as they say, as the sounds are a bit different from what to expect from Lapsus normally, but hey it’s exactly those records we all cry for. If you don’t believe me, stick to the brilliant ‘Guitar Soul’, a lovely track that will inject even tired hips with new power.
On the remix Supernova themselves serve one of their best remixes of late, an immense piece of top notch Tech House that uses the best part of ‘Nomads’ coupled with their trademark bouncy sound. Finally it’s up to Christian Viviano, who comes up with a superb techy version of ‘Let Me Hear’ to round off a solid release!
