Following on from the excellent ‘Headlock’, the prince of quirky pop is back with a tale of wasted love. ‘Satisfied’ opens with a beastly cad piano motif before veering off into a cocktail fuelled foxtrot skank around plastic palm trees, complete with sad violins, handclaps and heartfelt lyrics. ‘You know a man can never win, even if you can buy her all the shoes. So when you play the game of love my friends, it’s a game you’ll always lose’. Toddla T & Ross Orton deliver a jump up dancehall flavoured mix, and Mad Professor makes the most of the downbeat as well as delving deep into his dub chamber.
