Take Us Higher is first and is six steamy minutes of loopy house fun that builds to a tense peak. There is a colourful disco feel and lots of diva lushness in the whole thing as big drums and warm chords encourage you to dance. Hold Me Tight is another vibe fuelled affair with authentic old school house and disco feelings bottled up in the freewheeling chords, thumping drums and big trumpets. Raw textures and funky bass all help make this one a truly charming jam. The last of these three energetic and good time bangers is What I’m Thinking Of. It’s a groovy house number with piano chords and strings stitched into the groove as symbol splashes and more classic vocals help finish it off. Essential from start to finish.
