House music often works best when it is reduced to the main elements needed: a solid rhythm, good keys, a lovely bass workout and some funkiness here or there. The new Unquantize release is exactly such a record, not too complicated but very catchy thanks to the above mentioned ingredients. We are of course speaking of theThe Scientists of Sound aka Fabio Giunta, Roberto Reale and Francesco Brandolini , who return with “Rococo” featuring the live musicianship of Frankie Key. These guys have been on fire this year with their exceptional productions and this release is another proof to this fact. “Rococo” contains sax riffs and solos layered over hypnotic keyboards and beats that are meant to totally rock dance floors. This package contains three mixes: the banging original mix, a creative dub, and a Brazilian Mix that percolates with rhythmic percussion to the max. Very nice release all over!
