The Norwegian DJ & Producer Funkin Matt has upcoming releases on labels like Fool’s Gold, Fjordin and Mixmash, aswell as remixes on labels like Epic and Sony. Next release up is the robot anthem “I Wish” which has made quite the hype through the summer after A-Trak picked it up, and is out now on Fools’s Gold

01. Tom Staar – Cheyenne
Tom Staar is on fire these days!! Great combo of melodic breakdown with a bit of French Touch and a big bassy drop, do we need more?
02. Funkin Matt – I Wish
I had to have one of my own tracks in here and this “robot anthem” is the most hyped one at the moment, originally made just for fun but ended up big in a weird way!
03. Afrojack & Shermanology – Can’t Stop Me (Kryder & Staar Remix)
This one is a track I first thought, ok this could work but I wasn’t super excited. BUT man does this work in the clubs! Big time!
04. Martin Solveig – A Night Out (A-Trak Remix)
I can’t get enough of this track, which for me is the perfect blend of melodies, vocals and BASS. Everybody loves this track, melodies for the girls and bass for the guys. Did I mention bass?
05. Gregor Salto – Bumbum
For my longer sets, this is the track that sets the pace. Floorfiller and party starter! Gregor Salto is on fire at the moment!
06. Firebeatz & Schella – Dear New York
Acid breakdown, love it! This track makes people go through the roof every time. Nuff said!
07. Todd Terje – Inspector Norse
Biggest track from Norway this year for sure! Todd Terje is definitely doing all the right things right now, just wish he was more recognized back home!
08. Funkin Matt – Colossus
A staple in my sets for the last year. Happy breakdown turns into angry drop that really works! Out in December on Fjordin!
09. FS Green – Cowbells
When you’ve danced to 128 BPM house all night and Christopher Walken tells you to add cowbells in at 108 BPM, you just gotta dance even heavier. Great track to switch up the pace with!
10. Justin Martin – Don’t Go (Dusky Remix)
A rounder bigger smoother deeper bass doesn’t exist in my collection, really good remix work by Dusky on this one.
