Trainspotting with Cross & Avocado

Vlad Jet – Velvet (Cross & Avocado Remix) Lauter Unfug

This tune got everything a peak time track needs: punchy drums, a catchy vocal and an infectious bassline. When Vlad Jet’s material came in, we instantly knew how to turn it into a club tune. We’ve been able to play it a couple of times – peak time madness!

David Pher – Back Into my Veins (Original Mix) Gruuv

The simple, but effective groove and an infectious vocal make this track one of our current favorites. A track that’s always nice to play in the earlier stages of a set, it just makes you want to dance and feel good.

East End Dubs – Nightingale (Original Mix) Eastenders

We have always loved East End Dubs for his rather minimalistic tunes. Nightingale is a prime example of how a simple synth melody can carry a whole track. We have been playing this a lot and it still doesn’t get boring.

Javier Labarca – Noche De LA Luna Roja (Toma Remix) Cyclic Records

We’re in love with this tune! When we first heard it, we thought the bassline was kind of unusual. Then we fell in love with it – it’s got a chill vibe, but the drums still make it one of our favourites. It might take a while to grow on you, but then it remains in your head. Great work.

Gorje Hewek & Izhevski – Vetter (Original Mix) Peremen

This track recently caught our attention with its crispy clean drums. The high end sounds amazing, which is something we always like about a track. It starts with a deep synth sound with a slow filter attack, that gets you in the mood for something dark. Then it surprises with a dreamy counter melody – a perfect intro track.

Stu – Vibin Through The Six (Original Mix) Tech Avenue Records

Another peak time tune we’ve been playing a lot lately. With its catchy synth melody, ‘Vibin Through The Six’ is sure to carry a crowd along. In our opinion, Stu is heavily underrated and definitely someone to keep an eye on in the future.

Tolstoi, Andsan – Late Night (Original Mix) Paul’s Boutique Music

Paul’s Boutique stands for minimalistic and clean Tech House sound. Based in our city Cologne, Tolstoi & Andsan have been putting out quality for years. Their current tune “Late Night” caught us with it’s simple, yet effective bass lead and some catchy vocal cuts. Great production overall.

Rallo – Rums (Cross & Avocado Remix) Sieben Sonnenv
Similar to Vlad Jet’s “Velvet”, we took Rallo’s great progressive tune “Rums” and put our stamp on it. With a rumbling bassline and some deep, melancholic synths this is another dark tune for dark club nights. Especially the drop works all the time, which always makes us smile in the booth. Definitely worth a spin! vRaphael Hoffmann – Wintergarten Cocaine Cowboys (Daniel Jaeger Remix) Cacao Recordings

If there is an artist who you’ll find in almost all of our club playlists, it’s probably Daniel Jaeger. He is one of a kind when it comes to clean, yet dirty Tech House and this unreleased track here makes no exception. Massive synths and an unmistakable Jaeger groove make up another one of our current favorites.

Thomas Gandey – The Voyeur (Cross, Vapa Remix) Unreleased

To us, the number of vocalists who are able to turn a groove into a hit record is pretty low. Thomas Gandey is surely one of them. Cross and
VAPA – an upcoming Electronica talent, who’s been making a lot of noise in France lately – have crafted a deep remix of ‘Voyeur’. A tight groove, live instruments, great vocals and a catchy lead – definitely worth checking out. (Release: 28/02/20).

Vlad Jet – Velvet (incl. Cross & Avocado Remix) is out now on Lauter Unfug.
