The legend delivers his Ibiza big smackers

Always on the innovative party curve, Soul Heaven return for their second Ibiza summer season of their hot weekly pool parties in the opulent surroundings of the Ocean Beach Club every Saturday.

Playing the freshest sounds and cutting edge music, Soul Heaven showcases house music in i’s widest definition with a celebrated ‘Best of British’ line up that features icons of dance music in the shape of Norman Jay MBE, Joey Negro and Grant Nelson. If you can’t make it out to Ibiza this summer then tune into the sounds of Soul Heaven broadcasting every two weeks with Joey Negro Live on June 21st on the island’s award-winning Sonica Radio http://www.ibizasonica.com/

1. ‘Candidate For Love’ Joey Negro Disco Blend –  Joey Negro vs Horse Meat Disco
Glad to see my collaboration with the Horsemeat guys is a firm floorfiller.

2. ‘Superstition’ Opolopo Remix – Stevie Wonder
This beautifully housed up Remix by the funky Hungarian never fails on the floor.

3. ‘A Fifth of Beethoven’ The Reflex Re-Vision – Henri-Pierre Noel
Up and coming re-editor Nic Reflex has done a great dubby rework of this Beethoven cover.

4. ‘Good Ol Love’ Honeycomb Vocal Mix – Honeysweet
Blaze’s Josh Milan is behind this organ-heavy Timmy Thomas meets Booker T production.

5. ‘We Are On The Move’ – Zo feat. Erro & Phonte (Joey Negro Revival Mix)

The original was one of my favourites from last year, so I was chuffed to remix and re-release it on my label ZR.

6. ‘Painted Lady’ – Franc Spangler
Jimpster’ s alter ego makes for some deep moody house with a high musical content.

 7. ‘Final Call’ – Kenny Dope & Raheem DeVaughn feat. Rhymefest & The Fantastic Souls
A firm favourite of 2014 and I love the distinctive jazzy horns.

8. ‘Into Your Story’ Kai Alcé Distictive Remix – Sandman & Riverside feat Jeremy Ellis
A deep soulful vocal cut that rises above the pack.

9. ‘Monday’ Audiojack Remix – Copy Paste Soul
The sort of more techy track I’d play when I go that direction. Strong dancefloor production but with musicality.

10. ‘Everybody Wants Something’ Rhemi Remix – Akabu feat. Alex Mills
My original did well in 2013 and I really like what Rhemi did on this recent Remix.

11. ‘You’ve Got To Have Freedom’ Patchworks Remix – Uptown Funk Empire
Lovely disco style Pharaoh Sanders cover from a couple of years back that I’ve started playing again.

12.  ‘Italo House’ compilation – Various Artists
Finally got our Italo House compilation out, so been spinning quite a few of the songs in my sets.
