1. Michel de Hey – You Feel Alive (Rejected Records)
Shameless self-promotion but also the first record where I use my voice, well sort of… Move over Justin Bieber! People always smile when I play this so that makes me happy as well!
2. New Order – Tutti Frutti – Tom Trago Remix (Mute)
I am a fan of New Order b/ I am a fan of Tom Trago – so this could not go wrong! Last time I played a long set, I played this twice because it is a super cool epic tune!
3. Richie Hawtin – From My Mind To Yours (plus 8)
Out of nowhere, a complete new album from Richie, where he uses most of his aliases from the early plus 8 years – fuse, plastikman, robot man… So many super DJ-tracks, finally he is back to his roots and he is a master!
4. Mumbai Science – Black Hole – Floor Plan Remix (Lektroluv)
If you play a party tune, play this one! Again, a floorplan master strike – powerful and energetic, works in big rooms, festivals etc.
5. Tuff City Kids – Underground House Search Vol. 2 (This Is Potion)
Always cool stuff from TCK, again 4 Chicago influenced house tracks where Carden Eden is my favourite!
6. Rhyze – Free – Louie Vega Remix (Nervous)
This has been out for a while, but I missed it. However, I heard it online. It’s one of those tracks that I had on a cassette tape and never knew what was. The little boy in me jumped and danced like I was still in puberty and, of course, a superb remake of L Vega!
7. Nicholas -Ghetto Opera (X-Masters)
I got this already in the summer – I love the sleazy vocal, it brings me back to the summer to the beach…
8. Anthony Parasole – Wild Life (Deconstruct Music)
A vinyl only thing I picked up at Clone Records in Rottterdam. Techno the way I like it, hypnotic and addictive, for the dark floors!
9. House Of Doors – Burm Star – Twin Mix (Mood Hut)
Nice label! This one has a hypnotic early 90’s Chicago-Detroit flute feel, you almost think you are in a time machine, or they have been, to get this early 90’s spirit.
10. Losoul – Side Street Noise / Passing Sun (App)
2 tracks for my long sets, as they need to be played in full, and they are also quite long! Respect for Losoul for releasing classy tunes all the time.
