Trainspotting – Jamie Lewis

The big tunes from the dancefloor

Jamie Lewis, boss of Switzerland’s premier dance label Purple Music shares his current dancefloor rockers…

1. Bria Valente – 2 Nite (Purple Music)
This is coming out on my own label, I just love Bria’s beautiful voice and you can tell it’s a Prince is production, very deep and classy.

2. Tim Deluxe – Transporter (Get Human)
A trippy and hypnotic groover that never seems to end, 12 minutes of delirium!

3. Richard Earnshaw – i-Culture (Duffnote)
One of my favourite funky tunes that you just cant stop shaking your ass to.

4. Deux – Party People (Urbana)
An old school, big room anthem, Urbana never fail.

5. Ministry Of Funk – Lady (X-Press Music)
This reminds me of the sunny parties in Ibiza. I play this everywhere, no matter how small or big the venue is.

6. Jask – Beautiful (Soulfuric)
I love Jask when he drops this sound in Miami Beach! This record is just like the name – Beautiful!

7. Jamie Lewis Ft. Marc Evans – Without You (Purple Music)
When I was working on the track I had goose bumps the whole time, Marc has an incredible voice! When I tested it out in the club it received an immense reaction from the soulful heads.

8. Tony Barbato – Jump (Favouritizm)
Funky and phat bassline.

9.  Kevin Hedge (Blaze) feat. Rick Galactik (DJN Project) – Follow Your Heart (Hi.Rise)
Only Blaze productions have the unique sound of timeless records every time.

10. The Layabouts feat. Portia Monique – Do Better (Reel People Music)
Deep and lovely sounds, a perfect record in the right place where people wanna dance to quality music.

Bria Valente ‘2 Nite’ and Prince ‘Dance 4 Me’ both remixed by Jamie Lewis and David Alexander are out now on Purple Music
