Without a shadow of a doubt, the best venue in the UK. A massive man made island, sitting a mile off shore from Portsmouth, The Fortress was designed to defend the anchorage and the inner approaches to Portsmouth Harbour from French invaders and a secondary line of defence against little boats that had skirted around the bigger defence forts. Sorry, am I being a really boring twat here? All you wanna know about is that over 20 DJs including superstar Mark EG will be spinning trance, techno, old skool, breaks, drum n’ bass and Ibiza classics. Wicked. Just don’t fall overboard.
