Get In… Get Out
Trouble On The Dancefloor…

Friday April 2nd
Size Matters @ Club Mission, Leeds
The Swedish House Mafia have become a household name in recent years. Responsible for so much of house music’s greatest productions, the Scandanavian trio have set sail for global domination and gone on to sell out venues worldwide, headline massive festivals like Ultra in Maimi and secure residencies in venues such as Pacha Ibiza. Steve Angello zooms into Leeds for his own label party for a very special Bank Holiday session. Armed with rising talent KIM FAI. Gonna be a cracker House headz.

Friday April 2nd
The Over 30s Disco Club @ Barnet Football Club, London
I love a promoter who hasn’t got a clue but still sends in absolute goat shit to me to include in our weekend’s listings’. Grab this one – “The floor is all wooden, our top DJs will be playing all your favourite dance music and hits from yesteryear. So make a date to boogie with us at Barnet. Dress code: Smart denim allowed. Collared shirts only. No trainers, T shirts. FREE car parking is available on site BUT PLEASE USE PRIORY GROVE ENTRANCE ONLY (do not follow main Barnet FC parking signs or use your Sat Nav as you will end up in the wrong place!)” Wrong place? Wrong place? Dude, if I used my Sat Nav I would
a) would not end up at a football club singles night and
b) oh, fuck it, I’ll see you there. Get me a beer in.

Friday April 2nd
The Caves, Edinburgh
For this very special event, at a very unique venue, Mauro Picotto brings us his most successful creation, Meganite. A musical journey that touches all cultures and trends in all nations, his Meganite brand is a beautiful, electronic music concept that knows how to evolve, creating an atmosphere enjoyed by clubbers around the world – and can now be experienced in Scotland’s capital.

Friday April 2nd
The Ministry of Sound, London
Above & Beyond ensuring chilly people queuing down the road in sarf east London.

Friday April 2nd
So Slam Closing Party @ The Arches, Glasgow
It’s been a crazy few months up here. Slam events, The Sub Club and Smirnoff have brought some of the most in demand DJs to the Glasgow clubber’s front door since the kick off in January at the Winter Gardens. This joint forces series of club nights has literally taken Glasgow Techno by storm, between Laurent Garnier and his live band, Adam Beyer, Jeff Mills or the many other amazing events. Well get ready for this one. Cocoon’s Sven Vath, a true legend partying us out. Methinks this is going to go down in Scottish clublore history.

Saturday April 3rd
Dusted & Fusion @ The Venue, Reading
I used to live near Reading. What a fucking shit hole. People getting stabbed, slashed, robbed – I knew having after parties back at mine was going to be a mistake. However, here we have some class. Step up Mr Joey Negro. Joey Negro is one of the most respected, prolific and original artists in the industry. Reading, he’s wasted on you, but maybe you’ll start to learn from here on in…

Saturday April 3rd

Hed Kandi @ The Syndicate, Blackpool
I feel so sorry for The Syndicate crew. The promotional team bring in the big boys because they can due to the huge capacity. Hed Kandi, great brand, owned by The Ministry of Sound but still retaining credibility. But they have to go to Blackpool, the town of the ugliest, most drunk clubbers in Britain. Shit, oh sorry, I forgot Swansea and Coventry.

Saturday April 3rd
Plan B, London
Brixton getting House busy at this brill little venue. Defected Records getting us sweaty with the one and only The Shapeshifters ensuring a few snogs on the dancefloor.

Saturday April 3rd
If @ Bushwackers, Birmingham
The coolest/trendiest/best looking muddafucking crowd in the Midlands – bar none. Superb Fubnky House music, a crowd that look they have stepped off a catwalk but are friendly with it and loads of cheeky after parties. Get in there.

Sunday April 4th
Koko, London
Big weekend for the capital. Get your scruffy trainers ready for the Nightmares On Wax live sound system, the Trojan Soundsystem, Dub Pistols, the Smerins Anti-Social Club, Lizzy Park, Paper Tiger and that man, DJ Mr Thing.
