Ralf Gum’s German based label displays all the qualities good music should possess in abundance. Emotive melodies, energising rhythms, quality songs and the combination of old and new influences are all here to represent the GOGO sound. Drawing from the labels back catalogue and including the latest single, “Soulful Things” there’s something deeply rewarding about Ralf Gum’s smooth mixing style and life-affirming choice of music which the label specialises in. Then again maybe its just something to do with the time of year and all these summer inspired rhythms, though more probably its tracks like “Angel” and Wendy Lewis’s tastefully uplifting vocals that do the trick so well.
