Gate Null is a no nonsense techno label that deals in chunky electronic funk. They have been putting out such bangers for a while now and the latest comes from the label boss himself, Andrea Frisina. He serves up two huge tracks that are sure to rattle ribs this summer.
Up first is the monstrous Alpha Centauri. It is is techno roller that is not that quick but which is hugely forceful thanks to its rolling drums, clever percussive pattern and meaty sub bass. This one will have whole clubs marching as one in no time. The second offering is Proxima Centauri, a more spaced out track with pads that reach for the heavens, drums that skip below and sweeping filters that add up to a fine sense of space. It closes out another brilliant two track package from the long running label.
