‘Indie dance’ isn’t always the most promising of genres, but when it’s good it forges a link with the early 1980s, which is what happens here. New faves Tom Vek, Fiery Furnaces and The Rakes do battle with more seasoned dancers Mylo and Cut Copy, who make three excellent contributions in their own ‘Bright Like Neon Love’, alongside remixes of Midnight Jugganauts and The Presets. Triumphantly finishing with The Killers’ ‘Mr Brightside’, this is an up for it, Friday night kind of mix to get the adrenaline pumping.
