It’s well recognized Poker Flat has a knack for bridging the deep minimal-ish techy sound of now with a certain old-school house classicism. So for cult legend Robert Owens to feature on Berkson & What’s new single is definitely a bit of a coup and a justified one at that. Owens goes into one of his understated monologues whilst the UK duo dishes out the percussive layers and a splash of acid. On the flip the darker ‘Onika’ takes you on a tight groove.
