The bedroom bomber from Glasgow has already provided one of the year’s albums with Incommunicado. Now he’s plucked the dark, ravey crash of ‘Brian’s Lung’ out of its bed and subjected it to the new Inflated Mix for this brain-melter of a single. All discordant sounds, hardcore riffage and an underlying killer-throb groove. Not for the fainthearted, but frighteningly innovative and quite startling on a big system. The flip sees Germany’s Henrik Schwarz subject the last single, ‘Don’t See The Point’ to a spaced exploration with bottomless bass line straight out of Jah Wobble. Unstoppable, this bloke.
