Few labels have come on as strong and fresh as CUFF in recent years. It is run by the french pair Amine Edge & DANCE and mainly comes up with new and unknown artists for each real, rather than just siting the big kids of the day. In that regard it is unique and well worth the attention it gets. Here the man getting that attention is Volac.
And for good reason, because he comes correct with two quite different tunes. One is Turn My Music, which is a boot shaking, bass heavy house cut with clicking hits and tumbling bass. Sleazy and naughty, it is full of charm and will get any club dancing. The other effort is Uzi, which is rude as you like with sliding hits and male vocal enticing real violence. The sounds of guns loading and the contemporary trap style production all around it makes it the most interesting house cut you will hear all year. Full of great design and a new perspective, this is yet another top CUFF EP.
