Back To Mine with Mustii

Thomas Azier – Ghostcity

The voice of the Dutchman Thomas Azier and that bass are ultra sexy: discovering his first album was a real shock because of the incredible amount of emotion he puts into his voice but also because of the force of his melodies.

David Bowie – Lazarus

Everything has already been written about him, but I don’t care, it never hurts to repeat it.
Bowie is a true genius, his career and this song are a testament that will make history.
When you listen to Bowie, you have that insane feeling that everything is possible.

Kate Bush – Hounds Of Love

What strikes me in this song are the drums, like a never-ending gallop.
“Now hounds of love are hunting.
I’ve always been a coward,
And I don’t know what’s good for me. ” Those words tear me apart.

Santigold – L.E.S Artistes

This track is relentless! Such an effective refrain, and such a precise and penetrating voice. I can’t help but love it.

Einsturzende Neubauten – Sabrina

“Sabrina” from the album “silence is sexy ” is a classy and delicate little gem. One of Einsturzende Neubauten’s
most pop songs, it’s impossible to get tired of it.

Iggy Pop – Cry For Love

Probably not one of Iggy Pop’s best or most interesting songs, but it’s one of my favorites and one of the songs I listen to over and over again. The strings mingle perfectly with the guitars and Iggy’s voice is a model: with that perfect dose of non nonchalance, his classiness takes flight.

Florence & The Machine – No Light No Light

Florence Welsh, he chorals, her energy and her force fascinate me. She makes me want to be on stage and brings something “sacred” and ceremonial to her live shows. “Ceremonials” is probably one of the albums I have listened to the most.

Bronski Beat – Small Town Boy

There was definitely some great stuff in the 80s!

Depeche Mode – I Feel You

Dave Gahan summons demons when he sings, it’s what I love about Depeche Mode: that unrelenting darkness and their melodic drive.
