The rich roster of talent at Ellen Allien’s BPitch Control has been harvested again for a third ‘Camping’ trip, with each artist producing a brand new track for the occasion. The gloves are off straight away with Jahcoozi’s ‘BLN’, a kind of scatterbrained but totally brilliant response to Lily Allen’s ‘LDN’, while smooth techno from Paul Kalkbrenner or off-beat electro from Modeselektor prepare us for three sublime cuts of techno, with Ellen Allien remixing Safety Scissors, Larsson’s ‘Off Voices’ and finally Allien herself, with Apparat and the magical ‘Red Planets’. Well worth acquiring.
