Full Intention have always been at the forefront of vocal house practitioners, and it’s a well deserved pair of mixes that illustrate just how much they have contributed over the last ten years or so. Their own productions were always something to shout about, and they make a fine closing section for CD2 in the shape of ‘Musique’, ‘Deep Inside’ and of course ‘I Love America’, the mix having opened with the joyous ‘I Thought It Was You’ of Sex-o-Sonique, funky as anything. CD1 goes more on a remix tip, but with the likes of Powerhouse, Junior Jack, Salsoul Orchestra and Masters at Work all benefiting from the boys’ studio touches, the results are nothing short of quality. A glittering retrospective.
