Eclectic is an over-used word, but it’s pretty much the only one that can safely describe Global Communication’s Fabric contribution. At times groovy, jazzy, soulful or funky, the mix goes to many different places in the course of its 22 tracks, offering slower beats and hip hop from off the beaten track to start, before going housebound on the back of Solid Groove and Audiomontage. Occasionally a bit of a whirlwind tour, this is nonetheless a stimulating selection, guaranteed to provide a new discovery or two.
