Gregor Trescher debuts on Billy Nasty’s electro imprint – as reliably brilliant as Talkin’ Bass – by showing how the Depeche Mode-Human League-style can be done with flying colours. The lead track sets up a twittery, authentic early 80s electro groove before night-stalking robo-bloke vocals slink in. The flip’s ‘Bulletproof’ and ‘The Mob Is On the Streets’ are moody but melodic with gleaming Moroderesque synth action. Impressive past-future foraging ahoy.
