Here he tampers with Rockers Revenge’s ‘Walking On Sunshine’ (produced by Arthur Baker in 1982 and eventually a UK hit), Shep Pettibone’s 1983 remix of Salsoul Orchestra’s ‘Ooh I Love It (Lovebreak)’ and Brenda Taylor’s NY fave ‘You Can’t Have Your Cake And Eat It’. Lovely snapshots of an important era when funk started to turn electronic. This is one must-have album for anyone interested in dance music.
