Yolk is the closest the S.U.F. umbrella gets to house music – albeit with its melon put through their inimitably nuttered blender and shot up the rectum with half a gallon of liquid amphetamine. ‘Spiritual War’ is ruled by a rude, divebombing electro riff which gets its pants ripped by tea-tray-on-the-cranium riffage while American bloke intones seriously. ‘Sound Of Police’ is their take on the old skippy house groove, but spiked with funk, sinister sonic snakes and, of course, sirens. Ultimately both sides are one massive party animal (with one massive stiffy).
